12 Days 11 Nights Korea Itinerary – Part 3

Day 3 12 Jan 2014 – A day guided tour in Jeju Island

We were introduce by our guesthouse to book a day tour with this uncle who can speak english for 200k won for 8 pax, and thats like $30 sgd per pax for the whole day. The service from Mr Kim is excellent, highly recommend.

He picked us up from our guesthouse and headed to Mysterious Road. It was pretty amazing. He simply stop and switch off the car engine, we are all sat in the car and the car starts to roll! It was pretty amazing experience and than we head to Hallasan. I was sleeping throughout the ride as I am prone to car sick. But was awaken by friends when they saw the nice scenary outside. Uncle stop by for us to take photos with the snow.

We headed down to the peak area for more photo taking and we than head to the teddy museum.

It was almost lunch time, we let Mr kim decide lunch area and he brought us to a korean resturant that serve tasty yummy korean hot pot. All i remember it is the best seafood hotpot i have. Unfortunately i failed to take the name card, we get Mr Kim to join us lunch and pay for his shares. He is so thoughtful and he didnt dare to eat much so we specially order more dishes to ensure he eats more with us. Food get really tasty when sharing! The abalone was cooked alive. It was still moving when it was serve to our table and we ordered 2 set of this. The price for the meal is inexpensive too. Super satisfying!

After our lunch we head down for scenary viewing and Mr kim bought us each gal a postcard, he asked us to pick and gave us as souvenirs!

We are paying attention to his explanation on the jeju island and we visit the waterfall too.

Our last stop is at the maze where running man had shoot at. By the time we are done with the maze is about evening time and uncle send us back to our guesthouse. He bought us a bag of tangarines and some mochi and ricecake. We really enjoy our day tour with him! Super friendly Mr Kim.
