12 Days 11 Nights Korea Itinerary – Part 6

Day 7 – 16 Jan 2014

We checkout the comfortable hotel in Yongpyong and hop on to the shuttle bus to return back to sinchon after having our lunch at the hotel canteen. We head back to Myeongdong to checkin into our namsan guesthouse for another 5 nights. It was evening time, and we head up to Namsan Seoul Tower. It is one of the attraction for tourist to visit. Similar concept of Ponts des Arts in Paris, where in Seoul they have this Seoul tower where you can see the view of seoul and pad lock can be bought to locked at the sides.

Namsan Seoul Tower is just about 5 to 10 mins walk up from our guesthouse. We bought the tickets round trip for 8,500 won per adult.

N Seoul Tower Address: 105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan 2(i)ga-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea Opening: 10am to 11pm Admission : 8,500 won per adult (round trip), 5,500 won per child (round trip)

We took the cable car up and the view is pretty nice. There are shops selling heart shape padlock costs 10,000 won each. I ended up buying 2 different colors for souvenir. Free marker given. Didn’t believe in locking so I only buy to keep the padlock. Friend had prepared and bought a big padlock wit h everything written from SG all the way to lock it here since he had a successful proposal to GF, and is time to lock their love in N Seoul Tower.

After the N Seoul Tower, we went to sinchon for Pojangmacha for our dinner, those tents that sells variety popular street food tents that you commonly see in Korean Drama for late dinner place. It is an experience and tasty. There is a whole stretch of tents and we decided at the very last Pojangmacha. Price wise was pretty affordable. We manage to buy some souvenirs for office colleagues.
