The location is at the center of all shopping areas, room are spacious, bed are comfortable enough and the price is valuable. It simply located at the side of palladium shopping mall, when night market is just right outside. Espcially the new Talad neon night market (thur-sun) is just at the side of the hotel. Big C supermart, Central world and Siam is on the left while Platinum Mall and pratunam is on the right.
Hotel has a freezer at lobby, thus, you can keep item that required to be kept frozen with them if needed.
Things to buy before the trip
We booked our flight to bangkok with Thai airway for $228.6 per pax, there was an additional charge of CCY conversion fee of 1% of my purchase price of the flight tickets. I was using OCBC 365 Credit card, and the bank told me the charge was due to the merchant is in thailand. Heard from friend who use Amex to pay with Thai airway does not incurred such charges.
We booked our insurance with AXA citibank for $12.50 per pax and order the AIS data sim card with changirecommend for $13. We collected the sim card at the arrival hall, where the collection counter is just right infront of the lift.
Day 1 12 March 2017
Upon arrival at the Suvarnabhumi Airport was 9.30am local time, we clear the custom and collected our baggage and head down via the travellator to take a cab. Since there are 4 of us and luaggage, we press for the taxi van which can fit in all our luaggage. The taxi driver was extremely friendly and it cost us 800 baht to arrive at our hotel. The journey was about 30 mins. We manage to check in at 11am despite the checkin time was 3pm.
After settled down in our room, we head to pratunam for the popular wanton mee. Soi 19, personally I dont find it nice, but the chili was good it cost 100 baht for a bowl with about 3 mouthful of noodle, is actually more expensive than the wanton mee in Singapore.

We head down to platinum mall for shopping, level 1 & 2 are for ladies, level 3 and 4 you will start to see some mens stuff while level five and six are kids section and accessories the top floor level 7 is the kopitiam, purchase the card. We spend about 3 hours in the mall and walk toward the Central world.
A must eat at level 7 After you, the Shibuya toast is nice, the milo shave ice is great. While the crepe are not speculating, advise to give their crepe a miss. While taking the Q number, we went Isetan to shop on Triumph while waiting for the Q number. In a event if you miss your Q, you need to take another number to Q again, because this is what happen to us. Baked Cheese tart is just at the front of the After you stall, and there is no Q compare to the one in Singapore.

We head down to big C Supermart just right opposite the Central World to shop around for tibits before heading down to talad neon market for dinner. Talad Neon market is just right beside our hotel and opens only from Thurs – Sun, 4pm-12am.
Two stalls are a must visit, the ribs and the sticky rice. Fabulous. There are 2 stall selling leather passport, for 100 baht each.

We woke up and to realize we drank too little of water, and we began to flush ourselves with water. We head down to Siam paragon via Grab car that cost us 71 baht. Siam Center open at 10am and we are the first customer to have our brunch at Petite Audrey. They have lovely flower pots cake. Honestly speaking, the food is normal, the price is similar to singapore price, however, they are just so nice to take photos.
We shopped around at Siam discovery and paragon, pablo can be found at the ground floor and we spotted hokkaido scallop and oyster that we couldnt resist. There is this Say Chiizu nearby and we bought one to try.

Day 3 14 March 2017
On our last day, we woke up early to head down the SaengCharoen Beauty Plus located further down from glow hotel. We are there to buy soap, kbrothers brand, soap with collagen. It is pretty strong and recommended for face skin with ance and blackhead skin type. Personally I use it for body as it is too dry for me to use on face. They are selling 10 baht each at 60g, actually, along the roadside, some stall do sells, but the pharmacy has more variety of flavor.
We head down to platinum mall foodcourt to eat and did our last minute shopping. BFF need to get ice box and we decided to drop the plan of going the unicorn cafe as they close on monday and open only at 12pm. After considering of our time constraint, we give it a miss, and head down to Big C supermart to buy ice box and spend the remaining hours in platinum mall. Along the way to big C, at the corner stall after crossing the highway, there is a duck noodle stall which sells duck blood one of my fravorite, i takeaway a packet for 40 baht.
A must try of the icecream, we bought one strawberry chocolate with cheesecake flavor it is so good and it is located at the main entrance of the platinum mall.
We took tuktuk to the nearest train station ratchaprarop for 100 baht. Since we have luaggae with us, so 2 to 1 tuk tuk. The uncle is very friendly and offer help to carry our luaggae for us. He even helped us to take a group photo when we reached the station. It took us about 5 mins to reach the station.
We buy the airport railway towards airport for 40 baht per pax and 30 mins ride to arrive at airport. I bought mango sticky rice in airport before check in for 150 bhat, after clearing the custom, you can also buy mango sticky rice for 180 baht.
If you spend more than 2000 baht you are entitle to do VAT refund. After your purchase, head to the customer service to fill the tax refund yellow form and bring to airport at the departure hall all the way to the right is the counter to get the chop.
After which, check in and clear the custom, follow the sign to get your tax refund back in cash. Cater sufficient time as the gate are quite far away and choose the VAT refund on the side of your gate.

Thank you the first comment very much for many good things saying about Thailand but we actually are a developing country that have a good and bad side. If you go to Pattaya city on Eastern part of Thailand, you will see the big red-light district there. Someone who has ever been there will tell anybody Thailand , the sex trade country. For other people like you will see the other side of it. Thanks again.
So far I remember, Thailand got freedom from military rule in 1973 or 74, three years after our liberation. One should visit Thailand to see the development to its extreme point reached within this 43 years. I have visited Bangkok about 26 times during my En fandu monde and FPIA era from 1979 through 2001. I have not seen so many sky trains lines, flyovers express lines etc, that means they have done all these developments within 2001 to 2017. It’s a tremendous improvement. Remote villages seems to me like capital city of their own era. Spent only five days for eid holiday, 3 days in Huahin and 2 days in BKK, seemed to us like spent in a fairy land. No bargain, no cross words, no hassle but only peace and peace. They love their country, and that’s why they could achieve such voluminous development. I have completed WB’s audit of 588 rural and UZ roads. If I’m to give score following WB standard, I should give Switzerland 37%, England 67%, Netherland 92% and Thailand 100%. One cannot see any sign of poverty and a happy community living happily together. Our eid vacation was just great. Feeling happy to share this with all of u.
